Simona and Christian's beach wedding at Marlin Beach, on Catania's Playa, perfectly illustrates what it means to live a wedding in Sicily authentically and without clichés. The day began in the late afternoon, with a slow and relaxed pace, then gradually transformed into something completely different. The civil ceremony on the beach, accompanied by the sand ritual, was light, spontaneous, and full of smiles, with the sea serving as the backdrop and a warm light that changed minute by minute.
As time passed, the atmosphere became increasingly intense. The sunset enveloped everything in golden colors, creating the ideal moment for natural and sincere photography, without forcing. Simona and Christian, initially more reserved, let themselves go completely, showing an unexpected and engaging energy. As a wedding photographer in Catania, I chose to tell everything in a reportage style, following the flow of the day and capturing real moments, filled with laughter, glances, and freedom.
The reception at Marlin Beach quickly turned into a real party. Live music, DJ sets, and a constantly packed dance floor accompanied the newlyweds and guests until the most representative moment of the day. After the cake cutting, in fact, everything concluded with a spontaneous beach shower, a simple but powerful gesture that was able to capture the essence of a marriage lived to the very end.
