Simona and Christian’s beach wedding at Marlin Beach, on the Playa of Catania, perfectly represents what an authentic wedding in Sicily truly feels like. The day started in the late afternoon with a slow and relaxed rhythm, gradually evolving into something completely different. The civil ceremony on the beach, enriched by the sand ritual, was light, spontaneous and full of genuine smiles, with the sea in the background and a warm light changing every minute.

As the day unfolded, the atmosphere became more and more vibrant. The sunset wrapped everything in golden tones, creating the perfect conditions for natural and honest photography, without forcing any moment. Simona and Christian, initially more reserved, completely let go and revealed an unexpected and contagious energy. As a wedding photographer in Catania, I documented the entire day in a reportage style, following the natural flow and capturing real emotions made of laughter, glances and freedom.

The reception at Marlin Beach quickly turned into a true celebration. Live music, a DJ set and a constantly full dance floor carried everyone through the night until the most iconic moment of the day. Right after the cake cutting, the celebration ended with a spontaneous swim in the sea a simple yet powerful gesture that perfectly expressed the spirit of a wedding lived with authenticity and joy.
